I'm sure a lot of you have driven by the mural building in Kittery, and if you haven't stopped by yet, add it to the to-do list. Tiffany and Jon do an awesome job curating oddities, vintage items, and sweet decor. From vintage cameras and vinyl to posters and furniture, you might just find the perfect piece.

On top of that, Tiffany and Jon are some of the nicest and most approachable people around, always up to chat about recent picks or point out new items that I might be interested in. Actually, they're so nice that these portraits we're among my first because I felt comfortable asking them. They've always supported the local arts scene and are super rad people to have on the Seacoast!

Don't let the mean mug scare you, @koreytnolan is

Don't let the mean mug scare you, @koreytnolan is about as laid back of a guy as you'll find. Between shooting, surfing and building a @grainsurfboards Waka at the same time, I've had the pleasure of getting to know Korey over the last few years.

He's a vocal advocate for a lot of causes I believe in, including sustainability, climate change and pollution. Whether it's building surfboards out of @dunkin foam cups or washed up lobster buoys, he finds creative ways to highlight important issues and support change (did you notice Dunks doesn't use foam cups anymore?).

On top of these creations for the @visslasurf Creators Contest, Korey also makes rad fins right here on the Seacoast. In fact he's had to take a pause on new orders for @hydrophilesurfcraft fins because yes, they're that sweet.

Korey's a good dude and contributes a ton to the local surf community. Give @hydrophilesurfcraft a follow, and as always, consider shopping local brands like his this holiday season.

A lot of people underestimate the amount of life i

A lot of people underestimate the amount of life in Great Bay, but this tidal estuary is a huge regional shellfish aquaculture hub. Late last summer I was lucky enough to link up with Laura Brown from @foxpointoysters to get some photos for @liarsbenchbeer's Oysterpalooza. I was mesmerized as she pulled up both spat (baby oysters) that needed more time and full grown oysters bound for restaurants up and down the East Coast.

It's amazing to live in a place where food is harvested and served on the same day, all from just a few miles down the road. And while Laura and I had a nice morning with good light and warm-ish temps, I couldn't help but admire the commitment it takes to harvest these beauties through driving rain, early frosts, and raw days. Thanks Laura for letting me tag along!

Making my bi-monthly pledge to post more; I guess

Making my bi-monthly pledge to post more; I guess we'll see how long it lasts this time. I'll be kicking off this run with some portraits taken over the last few years. Real captions incoming.

First up is the one and only @pauljrc. PJ is not only one of my best friends, he's the reason I gravitated back towards photography after college and is one of the most talented photographers I know. He's also responsible for almost all of the technical knowledge that I've acquired over the years. His approach is methodical and purposeful, his style unique and thought provoking. He's challenged me to redefine what makes a "good" photograph, and supports me through rare honesty and genuine feedback. PJ's best piece of advice? Photography is a lifelong project, so just keep shooting. He's always had faith my style would eventually come through, and even though I haven't gotten there quite yet, I'm only this close because of him. Thank you PJ for being an amazing friend and the mentor I never knew I needed.🤘
